In addition to school dances and college events, Steve's Mobile Music also offers professional emcee and DJ services for elegant, high-energy wedding receptions. To be blunt: We won't talk all night, we don't play cheesy games, and won't try to make guests dance who don't want to. We will make all pertinent announcements in a clear and concise manner, ensure your event runs smoothly, and play the music you and your guests want to hear to create a mood conducive to dancing.

Sound like what you're looking for? Our normal wedding rate is $725 (travel additional, if applicable) for up to six hours of performance time with a system customized to your specific needs. In addition to the performance, we also take the time to get to know you and what you're looking for out of your reception in order to tailor our services and music into the unique reception you've always wanted.

• We set everything up before any guests arrive, and make sure all the cords are hidden to give the setup a clean, professional appearance that won't detract from your reception.
• Not only do we DJ, we help you plan your event ahead of time, and handle coordination duties on the big day. Sit back and relax. We'll take care of it, and do everything at your pace.
• Lights are available at no extra cost, and can be configured in a variety of ways to fit your wishes and the mood of your reception.
• We dress to fit your event--which generally means a tuxedo unless requested otherwise. Any assistant will also be appropriately attired. We will not smoke or drink while on the job, nor do we expect to eat with your guests.
• We take a digital camera to every event, and can put informal reception pictures on a private page on our website for your friends and family to enjoy--whether they could make it to the reception or not.  While other people would charge more for a service like this, we happily do it at no extra cost. 
• We have, and usually play, a wide variety of music to keep your reception upbeat--and you and your guests dancing and enjoying yourselves. 50's, Country, Classic Rock, the latest Top 40... even techno if you want it.
• Your show will go on. We use only professional-grade audio products designed to withstand the rigors of the road, but in the extreme case something does fail, backup equipment is in the van. You reception won't end early because a voltage spike fried a CD player.
